OUR STORY • OUR STANDARD • OUR FUTURE

BUILT AS SOLDIERS.
BECOMING WARRIORS.

West Orange Soldiers is a youth football and cheer program built around discipline, development, character, competition, and community. Our name may be changing, but the standard that built this organization is moving forward with us.

A NEW CHAPTER, NOT A NEW BEGINNING

West Orange Soldiers is the next chapter of the program families have known as South Lake Soldiers. We are carrying forward the same military-inspired identity, commitment to young athletes, and expectation that every player and cheerleader represents something larger than themselves.

The move to West Orange gives the program an identity that better reflects where we are headed while allowing us to serve families throughout West Orange and surrounding communities. We are not leaving our history behind. We are building on it.

OUR MISSION

DEVELOP THE ATHLETE.
BUILD THE PERSON.

Our mission is to provide a competitive, positive, and structured youth sports environment where athletes learn the fundamentals of football and cheer while developing discipline, confidence, accountability, teamwork, leadership, and respect.

Winning matters. Development matters more. We want our athletes prepared for the next team, the next classroom, and the next challenge in life.

THE SOLDIERS STANDARD

These are the expectations we want athletes to carry long after the final whistle.

DISCIPLINE

Show up prepared. Do the work. Be accountable.

CHARACTER

Represent your team, family, and community the right way.

COMPETITION

Compete with confidence, toughness, preparation, and respect.

COMMUNITY

Support one another and understand that the program is bigger than one athlete.

WHERE SOLDIERS BECOME WARRIORS.

That phrase is more than a tagline. A Soldier learns discipline, preparation, responsibility, teamwork, and how to serve something bigger than themselves. A Warrior takes those lessons forward — prepared for greater competition, leadership, and responsibility.

Our job is to help young athletes make that transition.
